I started watching this because I grew up as an Buffy/Angel fan and hadn't seen vampires in a TV show since they guest starred in a few Supernatural episodes... and at this time I had no idea who Alex O'Loughlin was. But I was pleasantly surprised to find he played the brooding 'I hate what I am vampire' so I actually believed that was what he was. Of course the show had a lot of work to do getting me out of my Buffy state of mind and turn around my vampire belief's... because in Moonlight sunlight didn't kill them right away... stakes paralysed them instead of evaporating them into dust and they slept in freezers. WTF?! lol. Although I found that just as I was getting to like the characters and the show, it was cancelled, and I felt it had real potential.
Your thoughts?

I also watched this as I was a fan of Buffy and Angel. I really enjoyed as was very disappointed that there was only one series. But I do have to say that it ended well, Not sure where it would have gone with a second series, I think the will they won't they throughout the first series kept it going well, but putting them together would have changed the feel and I don't know if it would have worked as well. Examples from other shows When leo and Piper were together there relationship seemed a little dull, apart they was always the antipation will they won't they. Same works for both Castle & Becket and Brennan and Booth. Anybody have thoughts about where it would have gone.

If I'm honest I never actually thought about where it could go... especially with Beth and Mick... but I would've liked to have seen where the writers would have taken it. But alas, I guess we will never know. Still, they say things happen for a reason... and if Moonlight had gone past a season, Mr. O'Loughlin may not have been playing Mr McGarrett now... so, silver linings.
