Summary: Shortly after the Governor congratulates McGarrett on helping to reduce crime numbers in Hawaii, Laura Hills’ car explodes. The Five-0 team investigates and quickly learns that Wo Fat is most likely behind the bombing and may be setting up McGarrett to take the fall. While investigating Hills’ murder, McGarrett also discovers that she has been anonymously returning the items from his father’s stolen “Champ” box”, but he doesn’t know where she’s getting the items. Following the clues, McGarrett breaks into the Governor’s office, and discovers she has the missing items and may be connected to Wo Fat. Just as he sets the team to work on this connection, the team gets disbanded. Chin Ho is offered a Lieutenant’s job at HPD, McGarrett goes on the run with a warrant out for his arrest, and Kono is arrested for stealing $10 million from the evidence locker. OH MY GOD. I hate those three words 'to be continued...' because now I've got to wait 4 months to see what happens...
OK, I did love the opening scene... Danny lying in bed watching Elvis... and Steve's line to Chin about Laura 'sexing' him with her eyes. LOL. Priceless.
Wow, this episode really started with a bang didn't it? I can barely believe that the Governor was in on it... but I did predict that it was she who put the money back - although I still don't understand why.
It's all gone tits up now - Kono arrested for stealing the money... Chin is now a Lieutenant and Steve is up on murder charges. What the hell is going to happen now?
And poor Danny, I think it's going to be difficult for him to get Rachel back now.
Seriously though, this was the best episode of the season so far... I cannot wait for season 2!

Wow wow wow! What an episode! What a mess! I was totally shocked about the Governor. I wonder if she was really as "bad" as it looks, or if she was innocent of some of the things? She did basically admit to having her assistant killed. Loved that the send about half of the entire HPD to arrest Steve. I was yelling at the TV: "All those people are needed to arrest 1 person?? Yeah, when he's Super Seal McG!" Not that I was cheering to see Steve arrested. It just made him seem awesome. My friend and I were texting each other during the show, and we both wrote "Run Steve! Run!" while he was dashing across the roof. I loved that "sexing" comment, too! Steve must be on on fandom talk.

I personally think that although the Governor is the Governor, that Wo Fat basically made the call on everything - except killing Laura. And she only killed her because she was posting the evidence back to Steve, otherwise we still wouldn't know what a sneaky b*tch she is.
Yeah, I thought that... all those law enforcement officers to kill one guy? Alright, he is Super SEAL, but surely they had other cases to be working on. LOL.

I'm really going to watch this season again. I want to look at everything the Governor has done again. I think you're right that Wo Fat is behind nearly everything. I wonder if the writers knew at the beginning that the Governor was going to end up evil? Still laughing at the "eyesexing"? Did you know that might be from a blog: h50sardonic.com/ Hawaii Five-O Sardonic Recaps. She is hilarious!!! Although you have to have a certain kind of sense of humor. ;D I'm still wondering about Jenna. How did she get that tape recording of McG's father? We still don't know! Laura probably didn't give it to her.
